The SWATA SSATC will be giving special recognition to secondary school athletic trainers who go above and beyond the call of duty. Anyone can nominate a deserving secondary school athletic trainer for this recognition. If an athletic trainer saves a life, has to manage a neck injury or other traumatic event, runs an outstanding student trainer program, or is in the nominators opinion is an exemplary athletic trainer then they are eligible to receive this special recognition. Please help us recognize deserving individuals by submitting a nomination.
Criteria:
The spotlighted athletic trainer demonstrates outstanding achievements in the athletic training profession or community and works in the secondary school setting in NATA District Six either full or part time.
Anyone (another athletic trainer, coach, parent, etc.) can nominate a person for this recognition.
Athletic Trainer receiving recognition must be a SWATA member in good standing.
Nomination should be submitted in writing and made to any SWATA SSATC member or SWATA SSATC chair.
The nomination must have the person being nominated, their school and contact information, the reason(s) why they are to be recognized, and the person who is nominating. This should be in 200 words or less.
This recognition will be given quarterly (4 per year) and the recipients will be recognized at the annual SWATA Business meeting held at the SWATA Convention.
Current members of the SSATC are not eligible for this recognition.
